Thanks for the compliment! I agree with you on both there being a great group of people on RC10Talk.com and that an important part of "vintage" RC were the mods and hop-ups that may or may not have been worth it. :mrgreen:


Tore down the trans to fiddle with some things and snapped a couple of pics of the mirrored parts and the front oneway.

Front one way inserts are just some circle-ish delrin bearing holders with a 2-56 socket head screw in it. The head of the screw fits in the diff ball holes so that the hubs don't just slip around inside the sprocket. The inserts fit snuggly in the sprocket and will further be held in by the sides of the front case. May need to do some more work with this set-up but the nice point about using the original sprocket is that the TPS trans came with diff sprockets in two sizes, which would allow me to mess with an overdrive/underdrive set-up.
