Almost finished with the parts car, still waiting on a few things to get started on the primary car

Re: Turbo Optima Craigslist find- project: return to stock
Finished up the stock build (mostly stock, except the hard pinion and motor guard). I was able to find some new and some very good used plates, I'll probably replace a few more as time goes on and I see them for a good price. Also holding out hope for a new bumper some day. Oh, and I need to figure out who makes a good repro body. I don't think I will be using a TBG this time. Marwan? I have original decals. Maybe I'll snag up some repro tires too. No hurry tho!

The standard Optima body I got from Marwan is really good quality and fits well. Repro tires are nice, too. Highly recommended.

Great! That will be the plan then. Wish Marwan made bumpers

Looking good Jeff,
Yeah, those bumpers are a pain in the butt to find at a reasonable price.
The Mid bumpers were reproduced and José (member here from Spain) I bought them from, told me another guy was working on reproducing the Optima bumpers. This was a couple of years ago, and I´ve yet to see them up for sale.

Great looking pair of Optimas! I really like the blacked out "parts car". The bumpers for these are crazy expensive, I know because I've bought a couple over the years.
