I'm not sure "built" is the right word.gomachv wrote:...

Re: RC10 team pit stop tranmission
Built would indicate that the car was finished.
Car is still as it is in that thread. Found that the short arms were too swept back with the front diff in that position and while deciding how to proceed my interest in building any RC (not just that 4wd) has gone to pot.

Very cool collection of MIP parts. I don't see the MIP rear tranny though. are you going to use this team pitstop tranny with that MIP 4x100 4wd ?

Re: RC10 team pit stop tranmission
agreed. From reading his first post in the thread he says "I think I wanted to make a 4x4 RC10 with it back in the 80s"Phin wrote:TPS trans wouldn't work....no idler gear.shodog wrote:Very cool collection of MIP parts. He really needs the proper MIP transmission. with this front tranny you need to come off the top shaft of the rear.

Re: RC10 team pit stop tranmission
Hopefully he's got four...three to match his front boxes and one extra to send me.
The Rc10 black case trans are easy enough to find and he could make a stock Tamiya trans work for the Srb build.
