Just getting ready to take my new B5 to the track and thought I better get some photos before the pounding starts
I used vinyl mask for the silver stripes and the kit supplied window masks. Considering I haven't picked up my airbrush in over 20-years I was pretty happy with how things turned out. I had just a touch of bleed on the windows but used nail polish remover and a q-tip to remove.

hey willy, Here is one i did with the decals you have. Just used faskolor and a air brush. I sold the car but it was based on a HPI PRO II chassis.
First time painting one of these(the right way). What a pain masking the inside of the shell, also the fact that your first coat is the on eyou see is tough as there's no touch up. Came out pretty good all things considered.
This is my Bolink Invader with a Bolink Porsche body. Just finished throwing some decals on it after a few coats of paint. Not sure about my choice of colors but I'm pretty happy overall with the results. I've been toying with outlining the body...

I realized afterwards that if I had used black instead of blue, it would have been the colors of the German flag. Which might not be bad on a Porsche. :roll: :lol:
