Thank you. With compliments like that my hat won't fit anymore.

I'm still going to fit an MRP Mears shell from TBG. The back will be cut off exposing the cage. I thought about alternatives including AE's Protech but kept coming back to the Mears. It's the body that I would have picked had I built this back in the day.

I've chopped up a Buggy Champ shell instead of using an MRP Mears. It needs a final sanding to blend in the panels I added. Also made a Super Champ like roof section.

Just about done now. I made a new front gearbox, mounts, steering draglink and shock towers. This was done to move the gearbox forwards 1.5mm and raise the sprocket 3mm which allowed the inner steering ballcups to be moved 3.5mm further forwards on the new draglink and still clear the chain on full lock. RCH heavy duty front suspension pins have also been installed.

I also got moving on the body and just finished the paint. Tamiya candy lime green was sprayed over a base coat of gloss aluminium and then clear coated. Semi gloss black was then added.

Only a few details to go. I should have this finished very soon.
