Thanks, I wasn't sure if people would like it, but I think it looks good. It will really stand out racing against modern 2wd's that all have a similar look.
Yeah, I'd love carbon towers to mount big bore shocks with holes to mount kyosho wing mounts. Hint, hint.

Parts look OK?

Yep, I ordered them in yellow. They must use the same RIT dye that I have as its a perfect match. The only problem is that I'm going to have to grind the front and rear arms for clearance reasons and will have to re-dye them.
Is it possible dye color is so deep in part it doesn't go white even you grind it?
I've seen SLS parts painted with acrylic hobby paint and will in most cases color entire part volume.
Does it make sense to offer dyed parts through Shapeways? How do you see it? Or only black and white?

When I ordered the parts, I thought they would print them in colored plastic. If I had of known, I would of dyed them myself as I think it cost more for the color.
The dye isn't that deep in the material, so I will definitely re- dye them. I may have to use black tho, as they may go too dark if dyed again in yellow.
It looks great, but I think if it's just dyed it would be easier to just make em all plain white. I thought the printed material was colored....well, until a week ago

I hadn't planned on showing this until I had a complete roller....but since it's slow....
I decided to build this one as a what-if car. If they chose the stealth car platform and made it available, there would have likely been a champ and a team...
Ok guys, I finally took the time to put my plans into action. My goal was to use the Nix91 platform as a foundation but retrofit some of the newer hardware from the B5. As much as I wanted to keep the Nix91 arms, they interfered too much with the...

This is the dream car that AE never made, but thanks to Jake and Niki I can now live my dream. You can buy most of what you need to build this dream car here: Continue to read how my build and racing of the NIX91 went. I will be updating the first...

I knew you would come to your senses lol. When I drove mine on that track I loved it, but it didn't love getting hit by 1/8th scalers. I still need to order another front bulkhead and a B2 brace before I can run mine again though. I plan on running...
Okay, so probably jumping the gun with this thread.. but I feel compelled to post up a pic of some parts due to my overwhelming excitement. I'm sure some of you will recognize a few of these widgets... and then remember I posted this in the truck...
So I am just getting back into this with my kids since about the time when these Masami cars first hit the stage, so this is probably a bit of a stupid question.
Where would be a smart place to get the parts to complete one of these chassis kits. I...

OK, its took me an age, waiting for a few bits and bobs was a pain, but i got there in the end with the basic roller. The wheel dots just lift off as there on magnetic sheet, so when i run it, i can just whip off the wheels and not keep having to...
I am new to the forum even though I have been lurking around for a while. I used to race back in the 1980s and 1990s and the last car I had was a 2WD Losi XX. As many others of my generation, I was also very interested in the RC10 Stealth...

Thank you very much for the info and link. It is very helpful. I also went through the pinned RC10 Stealth Car thread and I think I am getting a better understanding of the components and work behind the Stealth Car. Would love to have one, but I am...
