Stoked! I just found and purchased the last part I need to finish the chassis - a new in package correct B2 carbon top plate, no sway bar holes. Man, I hope it's packed well to ship...I might have to cry if it's damaged in transit...

Sure did! It's installed and looking sweet. I originally planned to stop the build without putting in any electronics, but I've found some nice vintage correct pieces, and I guess I'm going for the full deal. I think all I need to get is a proper receiver, and paint a body, and I'm good to go. There a few minor decisions to make, like whether or not to poke a hole in the body for the antenna. I don't ever intend to run it, so I'm thinking I might not want to drill unnecessary holes. Getting close to done!

Originally I bought a B2 Sport repro, back when I was planning just to make it a decent runner. When I decided to go all out shelfer on it, I bought a 6142 B3 body. It's about as close as I expect to find anytime soon. If I ever come across a correct B2 Racer body for an acceptable price, I'll grab it.

I was lucky and got a fresh pulled Andy's B2 body for mine. I just really need to get off my rear and build my B2 up.
