Hi everyone,
Thought I would say hi as I just joined this forum while I was restoring my vintage RC10.
I really like the look of this buggy and pretty much anything that is vintage from Tamiya, Kyosho, Associated, AYK etc...
Here's my restored RC10 with the limited reissue body and Pro Line wheels.
I painted with Tamiya PS Camel Yellow and backed it up with orange.
Thanks for looking.

I have a neon green AE chassis with no stamp. Do vintage factory painted chassis's have any?

Just be careful on the blasting, sand media can heat up and distort aluminum. Glass is best. Walnut shells won't do it.

So i have contacted the guy I sold my original and early CAT XL to recently - turns out he still has the car, which he modified for carpet racing bitd.

He has dug it out from storage for me to have a look at - i would love to have it back to...

The second gen of the Mid family would have to be my favorite. It had enough changes from the original to make it unique in my view. The upgrades included thicker anodized chassis, adjustable tie rods, front and rear swaybars, fiberglass shock...

off of Ebay... Its the best first gen RC10 reproduction body I have ever seen. It just so happens that the person who did it was local to me so we met to exchange.. Great guy. It also happens hes a member here.. Small world. Todd10 is his nane here...
