Oscar Mayer said they were building a “wiener rover” do deliver tasty sausage treats to the people of America and would we want some hot dogs. We said yes.
What you have here is 43-inch version of the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile with a high-end R/C chassis with an electric motor running off a Lithium Polymer battery. The thing hauls ass, has three locking differentials, and opens up to reveal wieners.
Great for PR but I have to say I'm less than impressed...it has a space for putting stuff inside and a silding door. "Amazing" isn't the adjective I would've chosen...
Was shooting for the KC Daylighter look, but ended up with some Cibie Super Oscar looking off road lights. They are from RAM products. The light up nice, have actual reflectors and are made of polished metal vs plastic that many lights are made of....

Nice! I love the old RAM lights. I had a set on my original Blackfoot, mounted on the rollbar. They don't stay shiny for long perched up there, I can tell you.
Here is my vintage Simprop radio, made in Germany. Originally this was a 40mHz FM version, as per the box, but when I got it the HF module inside was missing. I've only been able to find a 35mHz unit so far. I think that's a frequency only to be...

I hadn't planned on showing this until I had a complete roller....but since it's slow....
I decided to build this one as a what-if car. If they chose the stealth car platform and made it available, there would have likely been a champ and a team...
