Oooh right. I was thinking chassis plate. Either would be cool. I have seen a set of those rockers cut out of frp. It can be done, just have to space the parts a little differently.

well I finally got the 2 piece ball cups sorted out I think. Every time I would print them the tolerances would be slightly off. I would test print 2 or 3 of the same file and none of them would come out the same. Either too tight or too loose or something. Maybe it has something to do with how they are oriented in the machine when printing? The last few test batches all came out well though, so hopefully they stay consistent in production. I'm going to dye a full set of parts (for fun/test) and have a basher together here soon. The fall is always my busiest time of year for work, but I'm finally over that hurdle and will have more time to get back on some of these projects!

Hello, I owned SBR buggy 30 years before and I’m interested to build one similar to the great one that you showed. Can you share some light what things I need to buy from the web. Many thanks.
I mentioned few days ago I would create this thread in one of my numerous thread where I actually speak about 3D modeling and 3D Prints in middle of vintage cars...
I currently have an Ender 5 Plus, which is stock beside the full metal...

Something good happened this week.
Few weeks ago, a cults3D user bought the Super Wheelie/Big Bear chassis parts. And he sent me a message to say that everything works and he is very happy with the possibility to repair his car... It caught me off...
This is my first attempt at 3D modelling and then 3D Printing a part , I've started with a fairly simple part , a front steering knuckle for a Yokomo Dogfighter YZ-834b , I thought i'd start with this as i need one and they are hard to find ....

Have you ever experienced any printing issues with different nozzles? I tried a steel nozzle for wear resistance and I think it affected nozzle heating and layer bonding significantly. Adjusting nozzle temperature had minor improvement. After...
Started with the basic idea of SRB, pretty much keep a tiny bit of SRB and some after market structural geometry. Plenty of custom made, CNC & hand made parts too.
Together also show my out of whack Mugen Bulldog lol ;)
I am looking to get some parts printed in PCblend. I think I have one .stl file sourced already. But, another part I need is a variation/prototype version of what later became the production version. There is enough of a difference between the two...

Looking at the part, it looks quite easy to model... And a nice start to onboard within 3D design with Fusion360...
With all the very cool vintage RC cars that I see in this forum, and with the trouble and expense that some people go to get them as good if not better than what they would have been originally, it occurs to me that with the advent of technology...

It doesn't have to be attached, there is a support material that is removed after the part is finished.
