Re: Announcing New Body Production
Only 2 Sand Scorchers Baja Bug bodies left.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=3926&controller=product
After prepping the orders for shipment I noticed issues with some. They have bad thin spots in the rear fenders or other blemishes. So if you want a good one better order fast. I will put the others up later, but they really do kind of suck. (long sigh)

Re: Announcing New Body Production
Update
Bodies still on hold as I wait for quotes on the new place. We are going to start with a little bit bigger size of lexan so the plastic doesn't get stretched to thinned out as much. I have now looked closer at some competitors products and see the poor quality on those and I want mine to be better.
Because of changing plants there will be some re-arranging of priority on bodies when the time comes.
I will post a list here later of molds and people can chime in if they haven't already on what they would like to see.
I also have added some pics of the Bolink Funco 2 Seater body and the Jammin body on an RC10 chassis.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
I have some gear covers from the former plant that pass QC. Some that don't make it.
The wings are a disaster, I think I might just toss them. (perhaps see what people think on here first)
So just listed a few things on store.
Gear covers for RC10 RC10T, a repro of the 6608 "early style" cover. (I don't know what you rc10 guys call it officially Edinger?)
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=4029
Losi Jrx non-slipper cover a3003 repro
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=1209
Losi Jrx Slipper/Hydradrive Gear cover a3004 repro
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=4031
Then ERROR version of the a3004. Has webbing of lexan in spots. Not in any critical spots though.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=4030
SOLD NOW On eBay only I put up some ERROR gear covers for the Pb Parma Mini Mustang. They have some webbing near one mount spot but with the way they mount I don't think it is a huge issue.

Candy? We don't put candy in our orders. The mailman must be trying to poison you. Quick, induce vomiting.klavy69 wrote:Ordered up 3 bodies last week and think I got them in like 2 days...AND I GOT CANDY WITH THEM![]()

JK, we have been putting some in our larger orders, but we are just about out. So put orders in quick before you miss out on candy. I joke we should call it RC Bench Fuel. Keeps you going while installing all the parts you just ordered.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
I posted this in another thread but thought try here as well since I still haven't found anyone who knows.
----
Need some help on these new gear covers for the AYK Boost. I have a few made but I am not sure what the difference means. MRLEXAN had them labeled AYK Boost Cover 1 and 2. I sent him a message but never got an answer. So maybe someone else might know.
Only picture I can find of a cover on a Boost show Cover 2.
http://www.rcmagvintage.com/reviews/ret ... f2g782.jpg
My assumption is that Cover 1 is for maybe a different body that came down over the center of the chassis differently and needed that cover to be thinner in spots for clearance.
So anyone have any ideas?

Re: Announcing New Body Production
the second gear cover is for AYK Pro Radiant for sure. Not sure on the first one, either boost or radiant(rear motor). Someone with either of those models will have to confirm. I'm leaning towards radiant(rear motor) which might give you clearance around the suspension.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
Gear cover 2 is the same as the Radiant/Maverick cover, it doesn't need the recessed area to clear any suspension parts.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
Thanks for the feedback guys. I will hunt down those other leads and see how those look on those models.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
Ok the latest batch of bodies is done and on the store. But not everything is sunshine and rainbows again. It seems to be hard to find a good production source.
The RCPS Turbo Mirage Body, 12th Scale Greenwood Vette, and the Andy's Toyota ST all came out good.
12th Scale Greenwood Vette http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4119&controller=product
Andys RC10T Toyota ST http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4120&controller=product
RCPS Turbo Mirage http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4123&controller=product
The Yokomo bodies got it the worst. For those interested in these I have discounted the price. But please do not feel obligated to buy any if you had previously talked of being interested. Only buy one if you do not mind some issues or looking for an affordable runner body.
870C http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4118&controller=product
The 870c had the best results. The tray got it it the worst. Tray has a bubble from air being trapped during production. This part is a little too smooth and traps air. Some day it will have to be roughed up a little or escape hole added.
Yokomo/Associated Protech IV http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4121&controller=product
Numerous pimple like spots are on the body and tray.
Yokomo Werks http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4122&controller=product
Numerous pimple like spots are on the body and tray. Guy at the factory also had a bad day and removed the film from the wrong side of the plastic.
As a bonus right now, there is a discount for buying 25$ or more of our brand bodies like these. Save 4$ when you enter the code SABULABODIES at the cart screen. It will also show the code at the cart to remind you of the available discount. So if you buy 2 bodies you save 4$.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
Clearing out the Yokomo bodies with the mistakes on our store. $10.99-11.99 for body and tray. Can also get them through ebay if you like, but price is a little more.
Also the Baja Bug, 8.99 on store.

Re: Announcing New Body Production
I have 1 error/discounted Bolink Baja bug body left. This is the last of them for a long time. They work and bunch of models including rc10.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=3926&controller=product
There are some error/discounted of the Bolink 12th Scale Greenwood Corvette bodies now available as well. They have a small bubble in the roof area as seen in pictures.
http://sabulatech.com/storefront/index.php?id_product=4119&controller=product
All sold out of the good Andys Toyota RC10T bodies. Have a few error ones available. They have a little bit of pimple marks in them. But really not very bad.
