OVALTEN - Something a little different

Post by limestang »

I came across this Composite Works chassis, and decided to build it up using white plastic, and the original RC10T Tires (4 Rears). I imagine it's not super practical for oval racing, but I like the look. Now I need to find a cool body to go with it - Let me know your recommendations.

I'm liking it...recommend the "roadkill body". Thinkin it was an A&L body or McAllister...can't remember.

Roadkill was / is A&L. Might be worth a check with Daryl if you are interested. He has had some random stuff in the past.

Nice oval 10T!

I'm not sure the A&L Roadkill or Factory Works Super Mod bodies would fit with the tall stock shock towers since they were designed for trucks with lowered towers and short shocks.

Maybe something low and sleek like an Andy's Low Profile 10T or any Dahm's Slammer body if you can find one. They'll fit with the stock towers but have a lower profile than most taller truck bodies.

Or definitely consider an S&K AIRS body. Contact fredswain because he has several NOS ones for sale. ;)
