Tamiya Striker -- Overkill!!!
Here's another one of my many projects, this one I picked up in New Jersey along with a Traxxas hawk 2 and rad 2. I called it "Overkill" cause I'll end up doing more to this car than it should be done to it. I started by buying Thorp Dirt Burners outdrives, dog bones and axles, although I found out that DF03 rear universals might fit the striker....

Re: Tamiya Striker -- Overkill!!!
Not wanting to go too crazy on aesthetics, and not wanting to spray paint the car, I had some green vinyl available and decided to cover it in vinyl....
Just need to find some decals or make some decals....
Also added a new wing, rear bumper, shock towers, and transmission case....

Gonna fix the front pogo sticks?
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Went to the local hobby store and these caught my attention, brought them home and tried them on the Striker.....not sure if I'm completely sold on them, but my daughters like them.....

Re: Tamiya Striker -- Overkill!!!
Due to the limited choice of gearing, I really have to advise against running those tires on this car.
Is the first pic intntionally spelling "Beetle Striker"?
Good job on the overall look!
