I only use the washer because the axle nut won't thread on fully.

You definitely need thick washers to use them on an rc10.

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Re-re #2 / 2017 Vonats Build
I have notice the same thing on a couple pairs of hubs lately...is there a better source for hubs? I have some SC10 parts, but this moves the axle out further.scr8p wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2017 5:15 pm I picked up a pair of black rear hubs for this to mimic the original car and not have to dye anything. So I'm throwing the rear suspension together and what do you know..... The black hubs are all of a sudden just as bad as the hub's from the classic kit. The bearings just fall in and wiggle all around. So I ended up dying the ones from the kit anyway.![]()
Very clean work BTW!

The white ones from the kit are fine. Just have to dye them if you want black.
Only other option is finding old school original ones.

I found a pair of hexes from Team Losi that would work for me on this build. The raised spot on the back need to be milled off so it goes flat against the wheel spacer. But other than that, they're perfect.

You gonna use chassis tape right? It would be a shame to scratch it!

Yeah, I'm gonna put something on it. The B1.5 I ran at the '15 race got hammered and I don't want this one to have the same fate.slotcarrod wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2017 6:19 am You gonna use chassis tape right? It would be a shame to scratch it!
ROH73 talked about getting his vacuum forming machine fired up more this year, so maybe I'll see if he could knock out an under tray for me. I'd rather do that than chassis tape.
