I'm the latest new guy here I guess. I had an original gold pan car back in the mid 90s that I bought out of a junk bin at a hobby shop. Then moved on to a B2. After that I got out of RC for about 20 years but now I'm back. I picked up a pretty decent B4.1 off of Craigslist to keep me occupied while I build other stuff. I'm planning on putting together a few cars and I'm here to learn all I can.
I listen and read way more than I talk. I've probably already read old threads on here for 20 hours last week alone. Still trying to pick up the nuances of various different variations of the RC10 over the years. I wish I could say I was building something for vintage racing or some other fun thing like that but where I am the racing scene is completely nonexistent.
Thanks for having me. I'll be that guy over in the corner listening and taking notes.

Re: New guy from Texas
Thank you. Now I've got to figure out how to get enough seniority to access the B/S/T section to begin gathering parts, but not annoy people with inane posts about stuff I know nothing about. I've got a car coming in the mail to build my first project off of. It's got some neat parts on it already. I lowballed the guy on eBay so much that it kind of embarrassed me, but he accepted my offer quite surprisingly.
