75% of my TRX-1s are not in a box.
This one spoke to me and it said it was cool with being left in the box.

Re: NIB TRX-1....Build it?
OK. Now it's telling me to build it. I finally found a SWB chassis and I want to build it on that. However, after much scrutinizing of the eBay pics of the one with the SWB chassis that I "won", I failed to notice that the steering post mounting holes in the chassis have been enlarged and countersunk for the larger screws. The same size and head taper of the bulkheads/arm mounts. I am fairly disappointed but the holes and countersinking are clean and the chassis is in perfect condition otherwise. So, I think I'll drill and tap the stock aluminum steering posts for the larger fastener(s).
Got another kid popping out in a little under a month. So I'll probably get around to all of this in another 5 years.

Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: NIB TRX-1....Build it?
I am really looking forward to seeing this one. I had a Bullet, but I am not that familiar with the Traxxas racers. A couple of guys I used to race with (aka lose to...) BITD were sent free Traxxas kits. They would run them for a bit and do well, but always switched back to Losi or Associated soon after. Looking back, I wish I had scooped them up when they were done with them. I probably could have gotten them for a song!
Congratulations on the little one coming!
