That is one sweet track weapon, to bad I don’t want to get into another brand the associated stuff keeps me busy enough.

This....is.....AWESOME!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: No-one talks about the 1/12th Fantom 4wd re-re???
I sure liked the Fantom when I saw it in the Tower Hobbies catalog back in the day...when I was looking to buy an RC car to upgrade from my Frog, I gave this some real consideration...but ultimately went with the Optima because I could drive it anywhere, not just on-road. The Fantom is a great piece of technology for its time. This is a very cool, unexpected tangent for a re-re...right out of left field!

Yeah it's a super cool car. Always found it fascinating but I've determined that I have too much and need to pare down.

Looks like it's based on the first generation Fantom. It's a really welcome re-release amidst a sea of buggies.

I wanted that car so bad but all I could get was the porsche in the plastic space frame chassis.

Re: No-one talks about the 1/12th Fantom 4wd re-re???
Seems like nobody has discussed it as most didn't know about it, including myself. As a collector, I wonder how this will affect the originals value as the 1/12 Kyosho pan cars generally fetch a mint on eBay. Hopefully not much since original is still original.
I'm happy to maybe get some new wheels for my Axis EX assuming they're the same. Also, a new production body wouldn't hurt.
Either way, this is pretty rad.
