Post by mytimac »

Looking at doing another live video, been a few years since last one. It would be a long video.

Sunday July 5th at 10am Central time. (8am Pacific) there will be a live Youtube video announcement of the recent RC discover in a storage unit. It will most likely be a very long video so take bathroom break before hand. :)

Don't worry if you miss it, it will be available later on-demand.

Like the first live video years ago there will be some give-away stuff for people watching. RC related trivia questions will be involved. (Disclaimer: this is not sponsored in any way by other companies or Youtube, solely operated and paid for by Sabula Tech LLC)

Later today I will have a test run of the system to make sure all the computers and camera are working correctly. So don't panic if you are subscriber and see alert on that.

If you actually watched the whole 5 hour live video. You can comment on what you would like to see made first.
If you didn't, I will have a list of everything with pictures soon. So much stuff will take a bit to get done.

Hey mate, I'm currently 52 minutes through the video, so have a ways to go.... but I wanted to add some scans, just while I remember them....

This first on is an old Dawn Trading (Australia) poster, which shows Bolink bodies including the 'unknown hotrod' just featured...

Secondly, from an old Aussie parts catalogue scan, this is a scan of a JoMac ad. , showing the electronics 'brick' previously mentioned...

Really enjoying the video so far!

That hot rod body looks similar to their 'C-Dan' one. Really amazing stuff by the way!

Right, having watched the rest of the video (phew!) over the day, here's what I would see as useful (assuming there are no legal / trademark / royalty issues):
1. 1:10 Ferrari F40
2. 1:12 Saab 99 EMS
3. 1:12 BMW 635 CSI
4. One (or two) 235mm Nascar bodies (I think you'd be surprised at the market)
5: Probably the VW Scirocco, before the Renault R5

There were more, but I've forgotten what I wrote at the start of the e-mail, so remembering 5 hours of video is over my old brain's ability!

Thanks for putting the video together, much appreciated.....

I vote for BL2364 - 1/10 Ferrari - strike that vote. It's far too wide for what I am looking for.

Thanks for feedback so far.

The official body pick list is available now. List contains approximate measurements for the bodies. Vote here for your pick to run. (just one) I am going to start looking at candidates next week. I have already had votes over the phone for the 2071 SCIROCC, and 2236 Flag (RC10GT).

Names of many molds have been changed for obvious reasons.

Delta has them in 1/10th. But the price is very high.
