GoMachV’s migration East
Hey guys! For those of you not on Facebook, I figured I should fill you in. We put in an offer on a place and it was accepted so we are packing up and headed to Idaho. Factory Works will be up and down for a while as we try to get our house sold here and get everything moved. If you don’t see me online for a day or two it’s just that we are busy. Hopefully we will be back going 110% by the beginning of the new year. The new place will offer us a lot more room and allow me to finally buy some larger tools and machines to make cooler parts.

Re: GoMachV’s migration East
Excellent news Jeff! The "Gem" State! Washington produces more potatoes than Idaho but they went with "Famous Potatoes" on the license plates anyway. When crossing into Idaho on I-84, I like to watch the Ore-Ida plant. If you are lucky the stacks will shoot up a nice steam ring into the air. If you're into that sort of thing.

Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: GoMachV’s migration East
The last two times we went there looking at houses we got stuck coming back. The first time was a flat tire right as we crossed into Oregon and the last time we were stuck because the grapevine was closed due to weather. We are taking those as signs that Idaho wants us to stay

Congrats buddy. Glad you found a house over there that works for you. I don't blame you for wanting to leave the Portland area. It's getting a little nuts up there.

Might should have considered the Gulf Coast. Everyone is still chill, and it's still shorts and flip flops in November.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

While I cant wait to be away from Oregon, we still have family and will be back and forth a lot I'm sure. Plus we become a destination for our friends and families as they leave town to stop and visit with us.

Re: GoMachV’s migration East
Good luck with the move, Jeff. I've been to the Oregon coast once for a family vacation when I was in my late teens, I've been through Washington state but I honestly didn't know Idaho shares a tiny piece of the border with Canada. Thanks to Google Maps for the enlightenment! You'll be pretty close to my province, Alberta...should you ever venture north of the border, you'd be welcome here. I live in Leduc, a suburb of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta.
