Today marks the 15th anniversary of RC10Talk. I just wanted to thank everyone for their continued support and contributions in preserving this wonderful hobby that is R/C. More specifically the "vintage" side of it.
Some changes will be taking place sometime within the next several months. I used to update the forums software regularly but had to stop. The reason being is after spending countless hours on the technical side of things, I finally got it to where everything was perfect, and running like a well-oiled machine. It took a plethora of modifications and immeasurable nuances to get it where it's at. The problem is it's been modified and configured to the point of not being able to update the software while having things stay exactly the same. After updating, everything has to be done all over again from scratch which will be a daunting task to say the least, so it won't be instantaneous. It will take time to get it configured back again to where we're comfortable. I'll let everyone know well in advance before it's set to happen.
Anyway, enough about that. Here's to 15 more years of preserving the past... For the future!
Wow, congrats, I had been away from Hobby for a lot of years and discovered here in 2009. I have to say I miss the activity and community that was here back then. Lot's of trading, detailed build threads and helpful environment. FB is just not the same to me. Seems more of a look at what I have you don't place over there. When I need real info I still find searching the archives here way more useful. But I digress, hope this place is around forever and this format one day comes back to its glory.
I wanna thank all the ones that keep this place alive with the builds and actual threads that contribute to the reason this place is still here...and Alex. Without Halgar around to keep me in check...Serious does an OK job
seriously...F Off facebook

Hello all I am new to this form.
I have my vintage Rc10t truck that I have been restoring within the past few months. I will post a build thread here soon.
Hello,
I'm new here and looking for a little help identifying a recent find. I've included a few photos and can take more if it helps. In the late 80s I read every RC Car Action magazine and dreamed of the day I could afford an rc10 buggy. Fast...

Poor tub! Who would cut it there and for what reason? The bell cranks are indeed very cool and most probably one-offs.
I go by Keith Billanti on RCtech and well, everywhere else. Been involved with RC Cars on some level since I was about 4. My first kit was a Super G, grasshopper II and then first race kit was the Rc10T...

Couple of quick before pics of the 10T. I took them with my phone and can never figure out how to upload to a message board from it. Had to wait till morning when I had the computer up.
JUST got that page on chrome when trying to open a thread (not sure which one a posteriori)... just thought I'd flag it. I'm no computer guru so I could very well be relaying low-quality info, but better safe than sorry...

Hi
After a long time out from the hobby I have just unearthed the Schumacher Procat that I bought second hand as a kid. I decided to get it running again and have found RC10Talk a great resource and inspiration for the project.

Hi Lotus74
I've never raced before but hope to go to the Brett Davis Vintage GP in January. I have a few cool cars now, so I just need to focus my efforts on making them race worthy.
