For the most part Servo's are not economical to repair. If the motor or the potentiometer are bad sourcing a replacement would be almost impossible. That said, they can be repaired. I recently repaired a airtronics 94151, I had to reverse engineer the schematics just to understand them, and bread board the power circuit to test the circuit and alternative parts chosen for the repair. It was fun but its not economical. ::D
So I'm rebuilding my original 10Ts for my sons. Going through my parts I found a airtronics servo (94151) that was brand new.. the issue I'm havering is it doesn't fit into my Futaba AM reciever or my novak Fm reciever.. what am I missing or...

If it has the black black red wires it is wired wrong for futaba which is why the connector won't fit. If it is white red black your OK.
The black black red can be converted by cutting the connector to physically fit and moving the red outer wire...
Picked up a T2 that had an Airtronics 94156 servo in it. Anyone know roughly how old that is or have any specs for it? Found it mentioned online, but no detailed info. I'd like to know if it's period correct for the T2, or whether it belongs...

Perfect, so clean it up and leave it in. Thanks for the help guys!
Finishing up a partially built 12L4 I snagged on ebay and I planned on putting in a Futaba S3002 metal gear servo. The problem is, the metal spline has really fine threads and a really short screw. The screw is long enough to mount a horn but not a...

that was a great deal on that L4, I almost bid on it but I want a link car so I can run Lipo. Are you going to come out to Thunder to run it?
Yea, it was thanks. The seller was a little careless and didn't bother to bag the rest of the small...
Hello all,
Several months ago, I got an SPC 5000mah 25c 2s lipo for my rc10. It was too tall to fit in the rear bulkhead. I own 2 rear bulkheads: the original one, which the previous owner screwed up, and one that I got new off of ebay. The previous...

I get e clips popping out of my front inner hinge pins quite frequently. I'll give shoe goo a try.
Hello to all, it's been awhile. Before I get into anything, I will be doing my best to put back together the history of the rc10t . I doubt I still can remember all the fine details though... While the damage does appear to be on my end, it was not...

I see, sorry guys. I didn't realize that this type of thing happed again, with other member's
I just picked up three used RC10s last night. After inspecting them more closely today, it would seem that each car has a bent (curved sort of like a banana) chassis. Has anyone ever tried straightening the aluminum tubs before? I already pulled the...

on thing you can do is to lay the chassis belly up, with two flat supports at the front and back, so the middle of the chassis is off the ground. say 1/8 or something, then apply weight so it bends beyond flat, then let it spring back. experiment...
Just in case you're like me and wonder what the inside of your home sub looks like. This is a Paradigm PS-1000. Blew a ring so I bought a repair kit. Pics are in reverse order from what I meant for them to be...
