what body is this?

Post by bdrmbully »

i got this with an ultima but im sure its not an ultima body of any kind.
thought it was an rc 10 body and just checking to see if itmay be usefull to any one who perhaps remakes these or someone who may need it incase its an oldy but a goody.i did strip itand repaint it the best i could as some of the black paint on the sides just would not come off.i really dont use it at the moment.

That's the remains of a Parma Sly One body for the Tamiya Fox. Quite a big chunk of it should carry on past the rear of the cockpit.

must have been an ultima with a conversion for the battery in the length.
Can you put picks up of that buggy please?

The body is easily wide enough to fit a stick pack across the chassis, after all it's made to fit over the Fox battery and side guards and it fit nicely on the Mardave Meteor I had one on.

Here's a picture of the full body. It looks narrow because of the front, but like terry.sc said, it was made for the fox which has the side mounted pack.

I thought the battery pack was more backward on a fox than on the ultima.
