Helped a buddy of mine's kid get his Slash squared away today. Steering was funky and the steering was the throttle.
Fastball right down the middle.
Disconnect the servo saver, turn on, center the L/R adjustment knob, align the wheels, connect the servo saver, adjust additional slop out with turnbuckles.
Throttle issue: no switch-a-roo switch on the transmitter so gotta 4 chan RX on a 2 chan platform, swap the plug positions at the RX ports until desired operation is achieved.
He was out the door rodding around on a fresh 8.4v pack in no time.
He threw a LCG chassis kit on it and just didn't take into account the little details of the job. That, and it's an RTR platform with little to no procedural assembly/maintenance manual OR theory of operation gained thru the assembly process...
Anyway, I felt like an ambassador today.

Good job! I was just noticing those LCG kits for the Slash yesterday. That seems like a pretty cool conversion.
