Hello! This is my assembled RC10GX from Japan. It is the latest Japan spec based off the RC10 Graphite Team Car #6036. Yokomo was the early distributor for Team Associated in the early years, and Masami also helped to race and develop the car. The ball connectors, ball cups, tie-rods, and wheels/tires are carryover from the Yokomo lineup of cars that suited drivers in Japan. The white front bumper is my favorite design aspect of the car. It's functional and looks cooler...kind of fits the "Cool Japan" brand strategy of the country lol. Finally, a popular modification on this specific car were the long front shock towers (offered by Jay Halsey and also part of Masami's 1989 IFMAR winning prototype buggy).
I did an unboxing of the early RC10 GX in another post with the 6-gear transmission for comparison. The graphite brace for the transmission is an aftermarket item in Japan from the 1990s and originally came with the white nylon brace.

You might be right. I want to give credit where credit is due. Thanks!
