Very cool pre-Team Moo paint scheme :D

I am not an RC10 expert (blasphemy, I know), so what differentiates Cliff's setup from a standard RC10 of the time? Any prototype bits on it that became standard later?

I believe the stealth trans was the main "prototype" item on this car. More of a pre-production piece really. The servo was special too if I remember right.

The shocks of the time were not hard coated so just plain gold anodized that wore internally fairly quickly also the front shock tower would be in newer kits.

Middle of the car pretty much the same.

And the rear like Scrap said the stealth gearbox with all new slipper.

As for all the small chassis bits that are different from kits of the time.

25 degree front caster blocks
Lunsford titanium turnbuckles
Yokomo ball studs and rod ends
rear universals
RCPS body
Associated 6 inch wing
Carbon trans brace

Love it! When I built my replica, I came to appreciate all the details it takes to get it right.

Did you have the shock caps hard anodized? That was one part that I had to approximate, olive drab tamiya paint was the closest I could get.
