Mustang Motors - potentially available

Post by dinglem »

OK folks.... just testing the water on this one.

I am being offered access to the inner vault of the Milanesi motor collection. These were never put on public sale and were used for the Italian team drivers only. He has motors complete with names of the team drivers who raced with them marked on them. I am in direct phone comms with him and he has agreed to let a select few go for the right price if i can find suitable buyers. He is looking for offers. If you know the history these motors were fearsome on the 86-87 European circuit. I have one in my collection and my motor builder already claims it is by far the best motor I have had rebuilt so far. It is a 16Triple and he says it has the lowest inductance for a 16 he has ever come across - and he has an inductance guide list and baseline armature received directly from Mike Reedy. Just wondered if any of you may be interested if he is selling a few? Not going to be cheap i doubt but perfect for a period build or a serious motor collector as they never ever come up for sale. I will certainly be grabbing a few.

If anybody might be interested, then please drop me a PM. I don't have any to hand apart from my own example, but if people are interested then he is going to send them to me to distribute accordingly. I have also asked him for some pictures.
