Nevermind on the guy I thought machined the chain drive...turned out a dead end

Turned out awesome! I would have a hard time not adding a side board to the body myself

I have had this sitting on the shelf for a while now and have been collecting missing parts since when I bought it off of Craigslist. Thanks to LTO-Dave and gomachv for helping me out along the way. :wink:

I don't have an instruction sheet either...

I have the clips that came with the yellow sport shocks. I left them out so the shock springs don't build up memory while it sits on the shelf. :wink: I tried looking for the gold shocks to keep it all original looking but the cost is not worth it...

Looking to install a brushless system in my slingshot. I was thinking about 4600 KV castle or a VXL3 from Traxxas. Either way, I'm looking for a brushless that will be equivalent to a 10-12T brushed motor. Any help with the selection would be...

both of those set ups will be very quick in that car. the traxxas system doesnt produce as much RPM, but has a lot more torque..a lot more...

not saying the 4600 is low on torque, i easily pull wheelies in my slash with the 4600.

So I got a great deal off ebay, won a slingshot chassis and suspension for 10$ plus shipping and the seller threw in the raider/rampage hybrid free. I was very surprised and happy.

I picked up a Slingshot online for a song, it is in pretty good shape. I'm considering a brushless system for it. I'm old school so I know nothing about current brushless systems, which would be the way to go?

I received my slingshot, it is in great shape. I think I may go away from the brushless and run with a modified brushed motor. Since I'm going to run foams on the dirt, that would provide the slip I need. I'll top it off with a Custom Works Open...

Ok, So i picked this Slingshot up from eBay, I got it for $76 bucks shipped (Actually i paid about $30 bucks with my paypal bucks i used :)) It was listed as good condition, The seller stated it was used for paved oval racing, He did not list any...
