Unknown RC10 Composite Oval Racing Chassis

Post by cjack »

Can anyone identify this chassis? The buggy was definitely upgraded to race but no identifiers on frame. The name "Otterstein" (I think) is scratched into the surface but I doubt it has anything to do with who made the chassis.

Edit: I think I've answered my own question. It looks like a Composite Craft chassis.

Anyone able to confirm?

Merry Christmas!

Chris

Many made/rebranded that chassis. Could be D&D, Composite Craft, Parma, Trinity and I thinking there were a few others I've pry forgotten about...

I tend to agree. Although I think Phin narrowed down the chassis with the limited side holes to definitely be composite craft as opposed to another vendor(but made by composite craft anyway).

My theory is if it's got 6 holes along each side (and it's not a TQ10) it's a Duratrax chassis....if it's got 4/side it could be from CC, D&D, Parma or Trinity like Todd said. No side holes and stretched wheelbase is JG.

That jives as the chassis I have is 6 holes and I think I bought it and it was a duratrax.
