I have always run o rings but in my high speed GT2 I installed springs to remove any slop in the bones back in 2017. CVD pins will not hold over 80mph even with super glue red loctite, and a heat shrink boot. The pins leave the bone and cut the rear arms off at the knuckles. So dog bones it’s been.
The springs come from standard mechanical pens, are basically machined to fit, and work very well at high speed
The SG or Tag Coyote had little springs in the diff out drives , possibly others , only disadvantage I can think of is they drop out during servicing and O rings tend to stay in .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.

The springs I seem to find fit in the RC10 3/16 Outdrives only with a tiny bit of force and they bottom out in the drive. Can’t be removed without needle nose.

All the sport vehicles with dogbones came with springs.
I think I remember seeing a few post on how these are hard to find. Which ones are the ones everyone is looking for. I found a bunch but before I purchase them I want to know which ones people need.
The diff out drives on my Stealth trans are a little oxidized. Can you all share some of the best ways to clean and restore them. I was considering using metal polish but I am a little hesitant.

If mine are new, I soak a rag with WD-40, and wipe away all oxidation, if they are for runner's, same idea, only with a 3m scuff pad.
Anyone know what application the MIP Lite Drives, PN: 1190 are for? I have a header card that is missing a sticker. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone know if the custom works 4475 out drives fit the rc10t2 diff/trans case?

Looking at photos of them, they look to have a flange on them that is wider than what is needed for a t2 transmission where the outdrive bearings sit. So they look like they won't fit.
