Eustace will be running the prototype for the continuation of the Legend this weekend. I'll update when I can.
Notable differences- the front end is updated with a stronger carrier and hub design. Same front transmission but the slipper is now more like a single pad rulon style slipper and mounted to the front trans instead of the rear. Most of the conversion is original to the last version they used (not the last version commercially available)

Hell yeah. Cool news! Looks like I need to pick up another donor car! MIP's stuff has always been quality.
Thanks for the updates Jeff.

Yes, same issue we face the front needs to be overdriven or we need the same diameter tires, so he went simple and used wide fronts on the rear

beginning to wonder if you should run a smaller pulley up front to fix that issue without changing tire sizes, or is 1 tooth down too much of a change? I know my XXX-4 has this option.

I feel like the proper way to build this kit would be with Fan RC parts in keeping with the copying trend

Mip is the original what are you talking about? This is literally the continuation of the real conversion

But it's not a complete buggy kit. Is it? I was saying complete it with Fan RC parts rather than AE, so you're building an original conversion but with copies of AE parts so AE doesn't get to double-dip on the 4wd release. Sounds like they're better anyway.

Ahh ok I see what you're saying!
He has the pack taped for testing. Look like cups will fit fine.

Looks like chrome CV joints - I hope he sticks with that. Interesting new belt tension design. Looking forward to seeing the release. He has excellent design skills and making in USA is admirable.
