I prefer the black wheels.

Edit: I didn't notice it was a poll at first.

Silver looks better and more correct.

Black wheels never have enough contrast with the tire and it hides the cool design of the wheels.

oh just saw the poll, wow people really have bad taste in wheel color  Come on guys, the original 1:1 wheels were Magnesium why would you want to paint over that with boring black paint?
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

I voted silver. Same as on real cars, I am tired of everything being blacked out.

Because in this instance the silver is too busy, the black wheel looks more aggressive by allowing your eyes to focus on the bodywork while the knockoff adds a small splash of color.

And this is coming from someone with the good taste to not like black wheels... but still voted for black wheels.

Magnesium (gunmetal, anthracite, etc.) may have been more popular than black but, wasn't a choice...

Credit where credit is due... Jerome knows how to trim a wheel opening. 👍

Thank you!

That was an option i had, but not the spray with it...

Your shading convinced me, i will try !

For now i'm on a new design for the wheels, with less relief ;)

The Dark grey is def better than black. My issue with black wheels it is completely negates the design of the wheel. No point in having a good looking wheel if you can't even see it, and nice wheels make the car. Even a crappy car can be elevated with a nice set of wheels. Honestly I don't think good wheels detract from the bodywork it just elevates it.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

The Magnesium does look good. It's just when I picture the car after the unveiling, I think the black will look best. But I'm also the guy that RIT dyed every single RC car part black bitd.

Well, looks like another quick fist fight in the yard at the next fest. Two hits. Me hitting you and "True Colors" by Cindy Lauper playing in the background. Then booze.
