Turbo Optima MID aka Kyosho Spider TF1 or the other way round
Thought i had found my holy grail (after rebuilding several Kyoshos) with an Lazer ZX in MINT
condition,.. but nothing to restore was.. a bit disappointing.
By chance I found an Kyosho Spider Touring Force 1 for (very) small bucks (seller said over 50 interests
the first 2h..) in (sought) miserable condition.
First considered about restoring it as it was, but never
had an Optima MID before, so I checked my storage, found an old GP10 (for suspension parts..) and
ordered the missing ones (rims, bumper...)
How I got it:

Re: Turbo Optima MID aka Kyosho Spider TF1 or the other way round
First rebuilt the gear, diff and belt tensioner, much dirt inside, the bearings got an WD40 shower
plus new oil.
Next laminated a CFK chassis, drilling holes, also remodelled the upper deck:
