i got one question about the high lift. do you need a 4 channel radio or would a 3 channel work? seems to me just a 3 way selectable 3rd channel would be enough to shift with right?
thats the biggest reason i havent got one, i HATE stick radios...
As long as the three channel radio has 3 positions then it will work. I bought 4 channel stick radios with movable trims becuase the upcoming MFU will need the trims to do extra features.
I think the High lift is hot looking. I like it so much I bought another

The MFU is the multi function unit. I have to say it is hot $hit. I have them on my semis. they provide digitally recorded sound, Headlights, tail lights stop lights, blinkers back up sound and a whole slew of other sounds. what ever you do do click this link. http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/56313hauler/hauler.mpg it's a 24 meg video of the Knight hauler in action. You can see all the realistic sounds and stuff. Tamiya is going to be producing a MFU for the high lift with a V8 sound.
My brother is in line to buy that TT truck. He's wanted a REALISTIC race truck since his first Subaru Brat donned a McAllister Toyota body (that I painted with Testors model paint by hand).
It's a pretty cool piece. I'd love to see 8-10 of those in a race on a REALISTIC off road track—not these X-games ridiculous excuses for circus off road stunt tracks that you see everywhere today. If that was something that ever happens, I'd buy one.
if i was rich, i'd be having too much fun to look for gnx's on ebay.

Its a great past time. I found the hardest part was when I did get a hit, then digging it up, people would crowd around to see what was found. I did find that troublesome at first..... but have learned to deal with it. It's easier today to find cash...
My mate picked this up over the weekend - we competed in the 24hr race up at Ardent Raceway & all of Dez Chand's (former editor of Radio Race Car magazing but unfortunately passed away last year) cars/bits were...

The serial number is partially obscured by some tape residue - but I can just make out the first digit as a '3' so presumably it was originally a 93 car? :)
The car has now been passed onto Rich from our club who has vowed to do it proud 8)
I just won this and thought I would share as it looks so cool

Only trouble is, do I dare try my hand at box arting it, or leave it to an expert, or leave it alone as is?
You kept those arms quiet Jay, but I found em
Hi guys,
