Re: 1974 Datsun 260z project (updated 6/30!)

My 260z has a new roommate. My dad picked up a 1987 BMW 325es. In this picture we took off all the wheels to get new tires. So far I have done the brakes front and rear, changed the starter, and got him a couple knick knacks at the junkyard like uncracked tail lights. My dad put an all new exhaust w...

Re: 1 T0 1 2000 CAMARO REAREND BEARING PROBLEM HELP !!!!

My dad just took his 2000 Camaro to the shop for this same problem. He doesn't work on cars so he is having it done, he also needed an axle shaft on the right side which was a 241.99 part alone! Good luck!

Re: 1974 Datsun 260z project (updated 6/30!)

07/02/12 Got a call from Juan of Krecs Engineering and he finished machining my adjustable rear control arms! I picked up a couple pizzas and headed to his house... They are 6061 billet aluminum with mostly chromoly hardware the same as in the front. They will be going out to be anodized this week (...

Re: 1974 Datsun 260z project (updated 6/30!)

6/22/12- Brake options Visited Juan of Krecs Engineering to discuss the rear arm design and anodizing. While I was there he showed me some of his other products. These are some aluminum brackets he made so one can use 1990-1996 Nissan 300zx calipers (aluminum!) on a 240z/260z/280z using 12" Br...

Re: Craiglist rc parts/cars posts, hilarity thread

They know that blurry pics inspire us to drive 50+ miles to see it in person! One might see an add and say "Is that an rc10 Worlds car milled chassis, or is that just strips of servo tape residue? Hmm... better go check this out". Anyone up for a game of Bing Bong? http://i8.photobuc...

Re: The never-ending Miata project

Sweet! I need to redo my floor, truck bed liner is a cool idea! Whenever I meet someone with a Miata I always say... You know how Jay Leno has all those cars? He said his favorite car to drive is his Mazda Miata. I saw him say so on his talk show!

Nice looking project, I like the orange colored milled chassis. Your family is very thoughtful to get you that running gear!

Re: 1974 Datsun 260z project (6/17)

I mock fit my Crown draw thru turbo kit #2 and noticed that it did not line up using the exhaust J pipe from #1. I noticed that #2 is offset to one side different than #1 http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a18/gammacrush/0618122219-1.jpg #1 vs #2 http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a18/gammacrush/0618122...
