Back then the buggies were pretty slow and the tracks didn't have many jumps so there were not many broken parts other than steering linkage.

That's not a round tracker. It is a Bolink Invader O/R. The round tracker had no suspension, just chassis flex.

I ran an original 6-gear through several hundred battery packs and the only wear was the outdrives and stub axles. The BROKEN parts are what really mattered back then. Mostly the dogbones and tie-rods. But that was with the older stock motors. The only parts that I would ever worry about are gears. ...

I can't add any info about air supply, but "Lightspeed" motors out of Ft. Worth, Texas used them in their motors and if you raced in Texas, you had to have one or nobody would talk to you at the track. Really nice motors.
