Tekin RC10 Questions
Hey Guys! I've been updating some cars lately and I have a question. Originally, I built my RC10 Tekin conversion without the active rear suspension. I did that because at the time, I didn't have any long rear hinge pins. Fast forward 15 years and I've acquired several basket case RC10s and a few se...

Re: Kyosho Dirt Master Ultima SB
I'd like to order a body set. I have an NIB RB5 in my closet and this body would be perfect for getting a hopped-up Dirt Master.

Re: What’s the difference between the Ultima and the Turbo Ultima?
When I restored my Turbo Ultima a billion years ago now, I remember remembering that I had to buy the motor guard separately AND I wore out the final pinion which was replaced with the hard version. So the list that radioactivity posted is correct. Later, I added the W5005 adjustable turnbuckles. I ...

Re: Maxxum FF to the lineup
This is a pretty cool car. Excellent work with the paint and restoration. I've ordered MCI decals in the past and they've been just a couple of hairs too large. If you decide to upgrade the shocks, the Kyosho golds are the best. Stay away from the platinum shocks. They are hard to tune and finding n...

Re: RC10 + Technacraft
I think these turnbuckles are kinda fat. Looks like they may be 6-32 or 6-40 threads.

Re: RC10 + Technacraft
Thanks guys! So, a car with a stealth transmission is fine. Funny thing about my Tecnacraft misspelling, in my mind I'm typing it correctly but my hands are throwing in the H. What is the suggested ball end to use with these?

RC10 + Technacraft
What are the appropriate years to combine an RC10 and a set of Technacraft turnbuckles?

Re: Turbo Ultima Help
Again, I'm late with input but yeah, a box art Turbo Ultima is white and orange. I'm not sure why this is a thing suddenly. Is someone making incorrect decals? I purchased a Turbo Ultima brand new in 1987 and I still have the box somewhere.

Re: RC10 Gold pan jconcepts wheels dont fit
What I've done instead of buying a whole set of 3/16 CVDs is just swap out the 1/4 axle with a 3/16 and reuse the rest of the 1/4 cvd parts.

Nose plate straightening
Hey guys,
I have a nose plate that is in pretty good shape. Typical arc scratches from the steering bellcrank and the front has a bit of a wave to it. How are you guys bending it back into the correct position without leaving marks or making things worse?

Re: Ultima RB5 Refresh - A Mid-School Restoration
Very nice! I just recently purchased an open box RB5 for a nice price. It was only missing the transmission tray. The other cool part is I was able to source a sword body for $6!
