Re-re Cougar in the US

Post by 1911Colt »

So am I the only one in the US still waiting (since June 10) for the re-re Cougar? I see several US residents on FB have them, even those who didn't get one from the first batch.

On a side note, it is awfully quiet here in the Schumacher section....

I finally received mine a couple weeks back (aug 12) from my order placed with Amain on June 28th. I am gold level. Not sure if that helps.

I figured that you'd be platinum.

I barely buy anything from Amain. Preorders and items I can use their coupons on are about it

My last Amain order had sales tax added in. It has been nice for a while still being able to order without that tacked on. At least shipping is still cheap with them.

Same here, which is why I can't get them to send me a Cougar  Even though I was on the list on the first morning, it doesn't matter as I my status is "lead" or "pooh" or whatever the lowest is.

Ironically, since I ordered 2 kits, all of the electrics for one, and every spare part on offer, if they ever ship my order my status will jump up  and it won't help because I am cheesed off enough to never order again

I am in Schumacher purgatory.

Hopefully it won’t be for long just getting together some projects and have a few updates to do on some previous buggies as well.

Hopefully you’re re re will turn up soon, they are pretty close to the original buggy, only real difference I’ve seen so far is the front tower is lower that the original due to the shorter ball joint (rose joint) on the bottom of the shocks.

:D Looking forward to seeing them!

I have enough NIP spare parts to build another Top Cat. If at least 1 re-re Cougar doesn't show up soon I will shop for a Cougar front end and body.

Amain told me yesterday that they expect to have more Cougars in late October. It is possible they just said that to get a break from me asking every couple of days. It won't work.
