The Original SCTE. I want to rebuild one of my XX4s into a HM, adapt the newer SCT wheels and lay waste in SCT Open Class. My XXX SCT is pretty good but the XX4 is just a special flower.
Even better would be a 22-4 (XX4 V.4), but that would be abusive to fellow drivers.

Color is the worst on the web. All the fixes require more work than anyone considers necessary.

Re: JRX-T mid motor conversion
It looks nicely done so far, but if you put a Cab Forward Body on it, then things may go south.

If I recall there are 2 types of nut from Losi. What part did you strip? The metal nut or the plastic?

Check the diff over and over until you feel it is totally broken in. Did you replace the rings as well?

Re: Help with XXXS motor setup.
Less of the chassis being able to handle it and more of if you can actually control it. Yes, it can handle pretty much anything you want to put in to it. The practical side is that with either setup you will spend a lot of time careening around uncontrollably until you can actually deal with the pow...

Re: Street Weapon Graphite
It has tough racing belts now which appear still available on Ebay. Not sure if they are good or not? It will not get run much. I have been reading up as my knowledge is in offroad. It appears the IWC version was about as good as it got at the time. What are some of the rarer aftermarket parts? How...

Re: Losi parts
It's because the hardcore AE guys did the timeline and the hardcore Losi have to rebel against everything AE, therefore we actively don't do it. At least it sounds plausible. scr8p pointed you in the right direction, I'm sure eventually we'll get around to it. The big problem is we have to include n...

Re: New Member - Trying to rebuild an XX-T
The XXT had a version that came with bushings, which I believe what your XXT started out as. Lack of Hydra-Drive, silver shocks, bushings, pink springs and so on. A box stock XXT-CR Graphite would have had the hard anodized shocks, pink rear springs, red fronts, dual disk slipper, MIP CVDs and some ...

Re: Street Weapon Graphite
I've got saddle pack style Lipos but I think I use with mildly modified hold downs.
Usually I just drop a normal 2S on left side of the chassis and put all the other stuff on the right side. Lipos are light enough that it doesn't make all that much of a difference to the balance.

Re: Is the reedy radon horrible?
The Titan 12 Turn is a 550 motor. It's a wee bit longer than a 540, so it ends up having a smaller number of turns for the same length of wire when compared to a 15-17 Turn 540.
You do gear it different, since it has a somewhat different power curve.
