Re: New to me TRX-1
OK, I might have some useful insight on this one. The blue plastics are really one of those six in one, half dozen in the other type deals. They were obviously white at one time, so chances are they're brittle to the point that you can't really use them as a runner. I've had several Traxxas vehicles...

Re: Tamiya Farm King - Now that's different
What you need is a servo to control a sliding weight so that you can activate/deactivate wheelie mode. This old RC trike I got back in the 80's had a battery pack that you could slide either vertically up into the seat or down in a more horizontal position to enable wheelie mode or speed mode. It's ...

Re: Things that irritate you
Outside of Mobile, AL, there is a large roundabout that merges six roads. Four of the roads are named Dawes (North, South, etc). It also has offramps and merge lanes.
It is in the middle of nowhere. Other than some small signs, there is nothing to indicate where you need to go.

Re: Things that irritate you
I really wish they'd make getting a driver's license MUCH more difficult, cull some of the more dangerous idiots off the roadways. If nothing else, I think that a regular class license should only allow you to drive (up to) a full size sedan or mid size truck or suv. The only thing worse than a mor...

Finally getting around to building a clod
I’ve wanted a clod for a long time. It’s just never been a priority. Figured it was time to build one. For the first one, stock gearboxes with “bolt on” parts. Later I’ll build a fancy one. I am a huge fan of cantilever especially with proper geometry so there is a progressive rate to it. Even thoug...

Re: RC10L
I don’t have the number handy but McMaster carr sells the nylon washers. You would need to measure one to compare. As far as donuts, I don’t know anyone still selling them but if you want tires professionally installed there is a place on Facebook called gone bananas racing skins that mounts and tru...

Re: Things that irritate you
How two assholes can screw up a small parking lot. Screenshot_20221018-133242_Gallery.jpg This parking lot will only fit about 15 cars to begin with, and that's packed in tight. To make it worse, the one trailer was sticking out where people have to drive. When I left, they were still there. Except ...

Re: GoMachV’s 3d printing thread
The RB10 and DR10 gear diff is a little narrower. I believe it’s the same width as b5 series. B6 ball and gear diffs are sold as complete so it makes more sense to offer this with that fitment. Otherwise people would need to buy a lot of individual parts.
