The TRX4 is a great truck but there are a bunch of others just as good and better. My SCX10ii is way more nimble. The TRX4 is way better than the RC4WD Gelande

Without having to read back through every post I was hoping those in the know could assist me on this long time project.
I have had a new built car for many years which I purchased from a fellow member here but also picked up a well used (and a...

I use 3% too. You can find 6% at the chemist I believe, and from memory it's the same price as the 3%, so I just dilute 50/50 to make 3% as it goes further. If you use too strong of a solution it goes chalky and powdery. Many use UV light but the...

I just got the RPM front arms, but shimmed back like yours, I hit the chassis :( - but the bigger problem is the arms are longer than the stock TRX1 arms, making the front end too wide overall, almost a complete inch (20mm or so) wider than my other...
Here's another little treasure that I picked up in a lot of three cars....took it apart and washed the parts and put it back together, now I need to source a body and tires...I don't know yet, whether to keep it or sell it....we'll see....

So I gotta great deal on 3 RCs this weekend. One of them was this.... The receiver has Traxxas on it, but Im not sure. The motor has XTM on the side. This thing is big next to my 1/10 RC10s.
So if anyone could let me know what it is that would be...

Hi guys,
I wanted to give a quick update about this one.
I got my hands on a Rustler cover, but the bracket bit looked a bit odd, really.
I had an RPM B4 cover laying around... a quick blank assembly showed it could work, albeit with a smaller...
Just a mock-up of something brewing. Started with an Ultima kit and conversion plate from Jeff. It's just servo-taped in place and I cut some relief around the bulkhead area. Might opt for a TRX-3 direction with an adapted lower deck. Not sure if I...

With some shocks mounted up on servo mounts and the motor plate and 17.5 HobbyWing it'll be utilizing. Start it out with a 78S/30P with the factory 2.14:1 final drive...yields a 1.21:1. Is that math right? Driven ÷ Drive, etc....
I noticed this chassis kit for Traxxas Rustlers, Stampedes, and Bandits on eBay. Basically, it turns them into an SRT! Anybody have this? If I had a Stampede, Rustler, or Bandit, I'd be all over this thing..

I got one of the newer gray ones for $20 as a roller about a year ago. Threw in some 'tronics, and it's been a decent vehicle. I don't beat the snot out of my runners, but I don't baby them either - it's held up fine so far, nothing's broken. Good...
I remember clearly when I was a teen and some of the 10th scale nitro Traxxas came out to market - with that gorgeous champagne ano on the chassis... What exactly was the connection with Image Model , as the brand seemed to appear on...

Thanx to Jeff for posting these pix for me.
As I was looking for some white plastic parts for my CWF&Shine RC10, I remembered there was a funny front suspension on a TRX-1 of mine... So I dug it out of a pile of cars in dusty boxes...
Picked up a new toy today at the hobby shop. Just need to switch out the esc plug for a Deans. I was impressed with it just messing around in my front yard. I'm going to try an unglue the tires and replace the wheels with some Rc4wd Dick Cepek...

Overall this has been a good truck. I’ve stripped the servo horn last time out but it’s all fixed and ready to go. The salt water at the beach has not been kind to the some of the metal parts but it gives it s nice rusty patina.
Every wonder what is supposed to be in the bag? Well, here ya go! If this is a resource you will use often, its probably best to download the folder as its large and the access can be slow (Klavy, dont bother- it will take a year!)
Just got this beauty in the mail. I'm not really a slash guy but wanted the motor esc. combo. I'm finding some steller tech tips to keep the esc mounted such as glue, zip-ties, and yep, even a coat hanger. Also has some 200mph mossy oak duct tape...
Hey pretty excited about my first vintage rc purchase! It's for sure seen some use but I like the edge, gives it character. That being said, I am missing a few odds and ends, haven't gotten it yet to see the full story but I can see I am missing a...

Yeah they are a super cool buggy, never really looked into older Traxxas cars but scrolled by this on Ebay and couldn't pass it up. Hopefully soon I have an rc18 and a kyosho to keep it company!
Well, I bit the bullet, swiped the credit card for a 90's Factory drivers car that was never assembled. Now I don't build shelf buggies, I build race cars. It for sure won't be a box art, maybe not even a Trx3 body. I have plans in my mind, and it...
long time since I've posted a build thread... simply because I don't have much time for new builds these days. But I wanted to keep going... so I cheated. I'm just going to finish a superb build started by our very own Seabass. It's a TRX-1...

I am looking for front tires for my TRX-1 shelfer.
I do not need original tires just ones that will fit the front wheels.

I found rear tires already.

Haven't posted in a while. I traded a worn out Serpent for this worn out Monster Buggy a couple of years ago, been sitting in the closet ever since. No body, busted roll cage and a bag full of transmission parts and a carburetor.

Hi guys. I'm trying to help my friend find some modern 2.2 wheels for his Bullet. Anyone know of something that will bolt on, or something that won't need a whole lot of parts swapped? He doesn't have a lot of money to spend, so I'd like to keep it...

yep, alternately, you could swap out the spindles for rc10 spindles (with or without the longer axles) and run 2.2 rc10 or 2.2 B4 fronts.
