I sent you a PM a couple of days ago but it’s stuck in my outbox, I wonder if your inbox is full?
Thank you.

aip47-2008 is a great guy! We raced together regularly about 30 years ago at the same tracks. However, he was an avid 4wd racer and I raced just 2wd. The fun memories!
I only recently got back into RC cars, but throughout the years/decades have always kept at least one Tamiya tool in my box. They tend to fit a lot of things and it is much easier to use than a wrench or pliers. They are a perfect fit for many...

I still have multiple Tamiya wrenches in my toolbox. They are just so handy

Just in case you're like me and wonder what the inside of your home sub looks like. This is a Paradigm PS-1000. Blew a ring so I bought a repair kit. Pics are in reverse order from what I meant for them to be...

Hey guys! For those of you not on Facebook, I figured I should fill you in. We put in an offer on a place and it was accepted so we are packing up and headed to Idaho. Factory Works will be up and down for a while as we try to get our house sold...

Don't Coors full flavor across state lines....you'll get busted!
Got the blu ray and watched it last night and I'm curious if any of our membership here has seen it.
I thought I knew the story but was surprised by some plot twists. Perhaps the film-makers have taken some artistic license in an effort to make a...

I finally watched it last month. Being a life long gearhead/car guy, I have to admit I was not looking fwd to Matt Damon playing Carol Shelby, just seemed like a really poor choice to play Carol. But I can admit when I am wrong, and thankfully, I...
I have a really stupid question. I've searched the internet and came up with nothing. Probably because I myself don't even know how to ask what I want to ask.
Is there a formula or something used when figuring dimensions on a resized part ?

if you want to use 1/8 standard wheels then you will want to use a standard 1/8th hex drive ( don't know what that is ) not the Tamiya style drive flange
I believe the answer to that question would be either 14mm hex or 17mm, with 17mm being far...
Heading to Idaho- hopefully permanently. We are headed out next week to poke around and see what areas we like. Any hobby shops that I need to visit on the way through? We will be southern, basically from Oregon down to Boise, over to Pocatello, and...

Been there, the owners had just bought the place. Really cool people!
Quite honestly I’m just done with Oregon. The wife would make more money due to lower taxes, and with her job being transitioned to remote anyway it just makes sense. Since I work from home it doesn’t matter where I’m located. We could easily sell...

Hey guys. It's been a while! I am still alive and well, just needed a break from RC cars due to other priorities. I started autocrossing my '55 bug and have been really focused on it, plus family, camping, off-roading... You know how it goes!
I've been watching this series on a new streaming service called Peacock. I'm 7 episodes in and it's pretty interesting.

Hi,
I had it playing in the background while I was working. very enjoyable!
One of the issues with reproduction bodies, as we all know, is that many of them are produced by making a mold of an original, which in the end produces a smaller copy of the original. Has anyone considered making a body mold using 3d printing? As...

Cold air intakes best gains are in the looks department. Like others have said. Unless other things have been modified the stock air box breathes as good as the stock engine needs. I’ve seen plenty of people test the theory on a dyno and the gains...

This is true but at least we're in control of them instead of relying on third parties. The monthly hosting bill will eventually increase as a result but it will regardless. Allowing attachments just reaches that point sooner.

Thoughts on using ultrasonic cleaners for rc parts? If you have, what products did you use? Is it safe for the plastics? Any suggestions/ experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use them daily at work, hot heat setting with the proper cleaning fluid for what you are cleaning.
We use one part Mr Clean to 3-4 parts water to clean anything. You could use Simple Green in the same formula for RC parts.
