What if your handed a firestorm?
My usual comment to that would be "they're a great truck, especially brushless :P ".... but I know what is going on up your way, so am hoping that you, your family and friends, and your place are all safe. Unfortunately, my brother 'had' a place up near Corryong, so it hasn't been a particularly happy new year for him so far :( .

In case anyone not here is wondering what we're on about, Australia is on fire at the moment. Remember how the Amazon was on fire a while back? California? Well, think that, multiplied by a lot.... we have catastrophic bushfires in pretty much all states and territories, with loss of life and property mounting.... and it has been suggested that more than half a billion animals (wild and farm) have perished.

Not good times down here....

Stay safe guys! Yeah, when I heard the number of animals on the news it took me a minute to register it and then lose my breath for a moment. I'm not a vegan, but I do love animals! Terrifying number!

The estimates so far are that 6,300,000 hectares have already been burnt (16,000,000 acres or about 24,000 sq miles and still going.

It is raining at the moment but it likely won't stop the fires... The fire storms are so big they are creating their own weather and lighting. 1/3rd of the hills wine region in SA has been destroyed, 1/3 of Kangaroo Island has been burnt, there is untold devastation across Vic and NSW and we still have 2 months of summer.
