I'm not entirely sure why I'm starting this project, but every once in a while a thought pops in my head and I finally decided to put it to paper...and g10. The kickup is Kydex for mockup, the rest is basically finished and usable. Bump steer is very little, travel is the same as stock and geometry is very similar to stock (raised upper inner mount to match added height of kyosho caster blocks). The noseplate was copied off a cut down version so the rounded end will get the "V" cut on the final version. Kickup is 10 degrees.

The slipper is just a placeholder for the pulley, I plan to drive it off the back side of the slipper hub (will be cut down) like a GT brake adapter. That pulley will run back to the "master" stealth with the same pulley. I need to research pullies and see what my options are.

Originally I was thinking i would open it up to fwd or even dual motor but to get everything to line up and to be able to use stock steering and even chassis I had to give that up

Well, this certainly is interesting. How much front track are you expecting?

Without measuring, but with the experience from the bullet fwd, using standard old style kyosho wheels puts it at the same front track as an rc10 rear. This is using the kyosho dogbones and front axles. The bullet uses short arms but the front chassis is wider, basically I just narrowed and ran later arms.

If you're not keeping it set up for FWD, maybe you could chop the top shaft portion of the front stealth case off and run the belt from the idlers.

3Racing makes a shed-load of pulleys you can use. They're 4mm bore so will have to be enlarged to fit 3/16" shafts.

The Kydex is just for mock up, it will be aluminum- however the trans bolts to the front tower only so the lower just holds the arm mounts. The arm mounts are stock rc10 that have the third hold cut off. The trans is also spaced back with 3/32 plastic which will be g10 also. This puts the outdrives low and forward as far as possible without requiring trimming. Really the only parts modified are the arm mounts and holes for the steering idler.

i would like to see how much wight was added to the front .. it looks like it will be nose heavy .. and if your doing 4wd maybe do a one way bearing for the front

I think it also depends on what off-set rims you are using....

This is very similar to the mock up I was using for my 4wd project. I was trying to use a GT transmission but I like this!
