Flip's Paddock
First off, welcome to my little corner to show off what I've been working on.
RC10 A-stamp, gold "Unnecessary Metal" shelfer build
Build Thread
I am just getting this thread started, and there are a few pending updates to this build so I will post new pictures when I have the car in a final state. But for now it's pretty close. I also have a logbook with all the header cars for the nip parts that went into this.
The exquisite body is by W.E.D. Jim! Click on the pictures to open a larger version of each.

RC10B3 Factory Team Buggy: Operation Blue
RC10B3 Factory Team Buggy: Operation Blue
Build Thread
I'm waiting on the right ESC to round this out, so it is at least driveable although I doubt I will ever risk getting it dirty! The body is by W.E.D. Jim.
I have also posted pictures of the header card archive/catalog along with an exhaust parts list. This may very well be the ultimate B3 build because there isn't much else I could think of to throw at this list. The cost was already stratospheric!
parts list:
Core Factory Team parts for the build
Thunder Tiger Parts
RPM
Hammad Ghuman

Re: Flip's Paddock
Figured I would use this spot to post a picture of the trophy case and shelfer lineup. I'll update this consolidated view as the collection changes.

Avante 2011 Build
Tamiya Avante 2011 Re-Release
Build Thread
This build features OEM hop-ups and some aftermarket aluminum add-on bling. Anodized in attention grabbing colors of course.
I'll be honest, after I started assembly and realized how complex this build was compared an RC10, with the erector-set nature of the suspension links and tie-rods, as well as the crazy colors I chose, I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I'm pretty happy with it although the build made me realize there's no chance in hell I'd run this with the aluminum parts weight and complexity.
I'm really glad I delayed the build to get the aluminum rear wing because I think it puts this one over the top for craziness.
Body again is by Jim at Winning Edge Designs, look him up for some quality paint work! If you look close, there are flecks of yellow and orange in the silver paint.
parts list:
Tamiya Upgrade parts for the build
Other non-Tamiya parts for the build
