new to the forum

i just dug my 10t out of my parrents basement and figured i'd finally get it going.i never compleated building it after i originally bought it so it sat for the past 15 years or so almost compleated.
a few years back i decided i wanted to try to get the truck working and maybe hop it up a little, so i brought it by the local lhs.the guys there said i shouldnt bother with fixing or running it becuase i couldnt get parts for it,
and the aluminum bathtub was too heavy and it wouldnt come close to keeping up with newer models.
i was discouraged and the truck went back to my parents basement.
i recently started browsing the tower hobbies sight and came accross all the replacement parts so my interest in the old 10t sparked up.unfortunatly, i came across the owners manual about a month ago at my apartment and threw it in the trash.i never thought i'd do anything with the truck.
currently i re-built everything but the shocks, other than that i dyed all the parts black or blue(sorry the white doesnt work for me) and i need a esc and pinion gear to get it running.i'll post pics in the rides section when i get a chance.
i know this i an rc10 forum but i figured the 10t was welcome too.
