Very nice but could you be more specific please?
If you take a look at my red runner, you'll see me and metallurgy do not exactly get along :(
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

This is an hardening heat treatment, so it can make your parts harder, but they probably could break if you bend them. I only do that on shelfer. Fo runners, I use new Asso tie rods: they are much stronger.

I also used a wire wheel on mine to clean the rust off, then I hit them with clear nail polish I "borrowed" from the wife...SHHHH, don't tell her.

1) remove rust with that:

2) heat the parts with that, until they become dark red

3) Drop the parts in vegetal oil (motor oil stinks, vegetal oil smells french fries).

Be carefull, this a heat treatment, it can modify the hardness of steel.
excellent advice, i didn't know about the heating and vegetable oil bit, cheers.

i bought this frp sheet fron a German ebay seller:
http://search.ebay.fr/_W0QQfrtsZ0QQsassZstefftech

It's flat light green and not transluscent, like a spearmint wrygley's . Definitively not like the original AE frp.

That is an awesome looking buggy. Don't know why but I love the old school look of fiberglass.
