another black tub
i picked up this tub on ebay last year for $8.00. it's brand new, never used, but it looks like it was built at one time. it has a couple little knicks from removing the electrics, but not bad. they also drilled an extra servo mount hole, too.
so, i added a nip noseplate, rpm arms, factory works front and rear shock towers, and an a&l chassis stiffener/battery hold down setup. here's where it's at so far.......................

i love factory works stuff, daryl's parts are top notch. i havent seen any of his buggy towers in years, awesome ride. the one part he made under the a&l name you dont see used anywhere are the old monster truck conversion wheels he used to make. these wheels were offest to widen a buggy to run truck tires. i currently run them on my oval truck conversion on the right side only with standard wheels on the left. this gives me about 3/8" more offset to the tires and boosts the left side weight. i didnt race dirt oval go-karts for 6 years and not pick up on a few things. yes guys i scale my r/c rides like a big car. people look at you funny when you whip out 4 postal scales at the track and then they accuse you of cheating when you put 2 laps on the feild.we cant run buggy arms on the left and truck arms on the right but they never say anything about the wheels.

WAOW!! I've always been searching for those A&L chassis stiffeners, they are GREAT, but so rare nice project, I also like the shock towers... do you know who made them? Cheers Jason, hope you're doing well in the Saloon with your brushed alpaca waiting outside

Re: another black tub
i cant stand that but it could be worse.. i have a chassis thats almost perfect.. someone drilled a hole like 1/16 of an inch away from the stock servo hole.. drives me nuts...they also drilled an extra servo mount hole, too.
oh and real nice project
