Another celebration tribute car OR "it's not a damn Beagle"
Just another celebration tribute car, I know there are some things gold that shouldn't be, and it has new shoes even tho they aren't the "correct" tires, but it should be a fun build and I may open up a few "hop up" bags as i go

Re: Another celebration tribute car
I didn't get a lot done, had to concentrate on the front as I'm waiting for a Robinson 5mm pinion
Also the chassis has been drilled out to 4-40. That wouldn't do so I tapped it 3mm. Socket head screws for now, will find proper ones after the mock up
I think I'm going to need a chain too. After taking out the bad link, I found another. And then another. Grrrr
Anyway, here's the nose

Re: Another celebration tribute car
Too bad you didn't know about the chain when I sent you those other parts, I have a few spare chains; I could've included one with the other stuff.

Uh oh. Sorry; I didn't realize that chain was that bad. I still have that Rocky chain if you want it back...

Re: Another celebration tribute car
I played with it more and it may be ok...once I get that gear I can start on the back and see where we are at.
No prob on the chain, I appreciate you giving it to me. It's 98% fine!

Re: Another celebration tribute car OR "it's not a damn Beag
Markbt73 your alternative hard pinion works great! And only $10
Here she is, gotta swap out some screws but pretty much as she will remain. The nerf bars need screws too so they also have not been attached.

Looks good, except for the RC10'ish gold color.

I had to change it so people wouldn't confuse it with the real thingCoelacanth wrote:Looks good, except for the RC10'ish gold color.
