Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
I decided to make separate assembly drawings for "Replica" and "Race" versions. Just to be more clear with all the options.
This is "Replica"...

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
There has been confusion if 1" wide B4 front wheel can be used or not.
For some reason I had a vision axle #7222 + B4 wheel will make front end too wide for race use. That's not true... it's spot on right.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
The wheel width is perfect, right at 250 mm, technically, the nut that keeps the wheel on is too wide. Nobody is going to care about the wheel nut. If it bothers you, cut off the threads, drill and tap the axle to hold the wheel on with a button head 4/40 screw.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
I have used B4 carbon strap #9594 in my rere-Worlds. I think it can be tuned for NIX91 also.

"tip jar" was the man when it came to Masami replicas. Wonder when he will be back

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Yeah, I checked his Ebay shop / Homepage - He doesn´t seem to have any active listings on Ebay.
But there was a fresh "kickass" custom painted rc10 on his homepage, so hopefully he still paints.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Shapeways will investigate this latest trend of US plant made parts breaking too easy.
Seems that Shapeways US factory make parts just for US and Netherlands plant covers rest of the world.
No need to send back broken parts but I need to send them a list of order numbers.
So please PM me name of part that was broken and Shapeways order number. I will make a combined list and send it later.
I was told at the moment there is no way to assign order to either US or NL factory. It's done automatically based on customers home country.

Bittydesign in italy does excellent paintwork, be prepared to wait a bit as they do a lot of pro paint. I already have a few mamas style bodies from them and they are always spot on, even on the smallest detail.DennisM wrote:Who does Masami paint jobs
