Scrolling down, I gagged a little until I saw it with the body on, then it made sense. lol
Get rid of all the gold aluminum and white fiberglass bits and it would look great. And for the love of Xenu, please fix those rear shocks!

Forgive me as I am a novice with buggies, but what is wrong with the rear shocks?
Yeah I don't like the gold or the white either. But you know, i never said it was finished
Ive got new rims and tires on the way and would like to put all black shocks, and graphite shock towers.
I ordered black rims.

They're mounted way inboard on the rear arms. They should be moved out to the last hole, 2nd to last at the very least.

I really like it, good to see something not predictable and it's also pretty 80s looking. Keep posting as you update, it's very cool...
